Hommage scale (1:10) of the legendary Italian offshore racing boat of the shipyard Meta Marine
Our KITON unites, like no other monoboot, both elegance and excellent driving characteristics and is therefore suitable for both scalefans and racing professionals. In contrast to the original, here we have only indicated the steps. In this way, our Kiton is easier to handle (especially in curves) and suitable for any water and speed. For perfect look, you can find matching decals in the section "That fits" below (Kiton, Bella Mora, Feinplast, Gibellato)
The Kiton is intended for the construction with two drives. Otherwise, there are no limits to your imagination. So you can use both two 50s electric motors with 8-12S each, as well as two 26-30ccm combustion engines, a two-cylinder engine with gearbox or a turbine with gearbox.
Good to know!
The bracket (rear) has to be mounted by yourself. To do this, mark the area, degrease, sand and apply with epoxy resin. The focus for the construction is 26-28% from the rear.
The little difference
This hull is available in different versions. In general, all of our hulls are manufactured using the sandwich "wet in wet" process (1 layer of 100er GFK + 1 layer of 160er GFK + optionally 1 layer of C-AFK or CFK + 1 layer of 100er GFK). In this way, the upper and lower part connect optimally and, unlike in vacuum process, there is no weak point on the seam edge of the boat. Which version suits you best depends on what plans you have with your power boat. GFK hulls are stable and suitable for normal speed up to 130Km/h. For higher speeds, we recommend using the C-AFK (very stable, firm, heavier than GFK) or CFK (very stable, flexible and lighter than C-AFK) version.
