How it all started
Originally this monoboot was designed for the first marine gasoline engines such as the MHZ McCullogh, Robin or the first 22ccm Zenoah engines. By developing ever stronger engines, our Caiman really thrived on. Today feels most comfortable with 26cc engines or larger electric motors like the Scorpion 5035 or the SSS 5694.

The hatch problem
The original Caiman hatch was not that easy to secure with Cellpack for electro usage because of its shape. Therefore we decided to change the hatch shape and also did a little makeover for the entire hull. Besides the Caiman is available as GFK and C-AFK version now.

That fits
Suitable hardware are, for example, strut 1071 or even the use of a Z-drive.

Good to know!
The center of the gravity of the Caiman is 28-30% seen from the transom. The Caiman is perfect for smooth water and fast cornering

The little difference

This hull is available in different versions. In general, all of our hulls are manufactured using the sandwich "wet in wet" process (1 layer of 100er GFK + 1 layer of 160er GFK + optionally 1 layer of C-AFK or CFK + 1 layer of 100er GFK). In this way, the upper and lower part connect optimally and, unlike in vacuum process, there is no weak point on the seam edge of the boat. Which version suits you best depends on what plans you have with your power boat. GFK hulls are stable and suitable for normal speed up to 130Km/h. For higher speeds, we recommend using the C-AFK (very stable, firm, heavier than GFK) or CFK (very stable, flexible and lighter than C-AFK) version.
