Exclusive special series of the popular Scorpion engines
This series of water-cooled external rotor motors, manufactured exclusively for us, was developed in close cooperation with Scorpion Motors.

The advantages at a glance

  • Outrunner motor with high efficiency
  • Direct water cooling inside motor - cooling water nipples are connected to motor directly through the opposite millings for water nipples.
    Third milling has to be closed with set screw 
  • Large ball bearings for high stability and long service life
  • 4 screws M3, 3 x cooling nipple M4, 3x gold connector 4mm, shrinking tube included to delivery
  • Rotation of motor can be changed by exchange of 2 phases or usage of a suitable ESC

Security and thrust bearingThe advantages at a glance The ball bearing in the flex shaft lock prevents vibrations and also serves as a thrust bearing The two-piece retaining ring guarantees precise attachment Manufactured from high-strength aluminum 7075That's how it's done Slide the flex shaft lock over the brass/PTFE tube Using a screwdriver or similar, mark the hole in the brass/PTFE tube through the opening for the grease nipple Take the flex shaft lock from the brass/PTFE tube and drill the hole in the tube at the marked point You can then mount the flex shaft lock completely on the brass/PTFE tube and now conveniently grease the internal flex shaft using the grease nipple Good to knowRegular greasing of the flex shaft via the grease nipple significantly increases the durability of the material. We recommend using flex shaft grease for this.
