Product information "Rudder Strut Set | 4,75mm (3/16")"

Rudder Strut Set for your boat between 70–100cm (27,6"–39,4")

Perfect for your boat because of:

  • Both-sided rudder sterring device
  • Made from high quality aluminium 7075
  • Drive shaft made of V2A (stainless steel)
  • Suitable for usage in salt water as well
  • Plain bearings installed in the drives ensure high efficiency and low maintenance (compared to ball bearings)
  • Thrust bearing washers are made of the highes quality PEEK material. This material is also resistant to most chemicals
  • The rudder blade automatically folds upwards in the event of collision with flotsam. Damage to the hull caused by the rudder itself is thereby prevented.

Thats included:

  • Rudder - Strut system
  • Adapter for Brass PTFE hose 7mm
  • PEEK thrust bearing

Good to know

  • We recommend a distance of 1,5mm between drive dog and drive body
  • For assembly we recommend to use of 4 x M3 screws. A small trick helps to mark the holes at the transom. Place a white piece of paper on the rudder stand and strip several times with a pencil over it. By doing so, you "copy" the exact contours of the holder. Now simply cut the template, stick to the transom with adhesive tape and drill the required holes.
