Smearing in the boat as in the predecessor is therefore a thing of the pastHelical gears are not pressed, but CNC milled, hardened, ground and therefore much more accurate and robustAll drive shafts are made of stainless steel (V2A). The upper shaft has two bearings, the lower shaft has three bearings and both are sealed by a SimmerringThe output speed is 1:1 Each drive is assembled by hand directly at and by us. A drilling template is also included in the scope of delivery and makes installation easier for you. Good to knowThe drive has a square mount for 6.35mm (1/4") flex shaft. By usage of our flex shaft with square end, the square end needs to be shortened by 13-14mmThe S6 drive can be used for both left and right rotation Suitable for boats from approx. 1200mm (with double drive 1400mm length) Suitable for 50 electric motors max. 32,000 rpm and 26-32cc power Suitable for use with semi-submerged propeller The drive has a PTFE holder.
